Ok, so I haven't really done much crafting lately. New job means new shifts means working real life around it.. While looking for something I came across my beading loom I'd put in a box .. Similar to this one.
So I decided to make some things with it, and seems to me that I still have the knack.. Voila!
In no time at all, I can whip up a bracelet, which keeps my crafting/creating side happy.

Bracelets.. and the like..
Ok, so at my parents on Thanksgiving I was making little friendship bracelets for my nieces and nephews, quick simple ones like these Knotted Bracelet.
During the course of the day, my brothers 2 girls lost theirs .. I know ..very sad.. Grandparents to the rescue! They happened to be out for a walk and found one.
So since my niece has her birthday before mine, I thought I would try and make her one that is a little more secure for her tiny wrist, and came across this beautiful one on Craftsy, Mirrix Affinity Bracelet how cute is this?? so.. here is my first attempt.
I'm pretty happy with it, I used a variegated Purple floss, and 2 different coloured seed beeds, a metallic one and a purpley one. It took longer than I expected due to the real life happenings.
Now I have to make one with a little more pink...

The WWWeb as inspiration.
I love the internet, the fact that I can communicate with family overseas or friends far away is always amazing to me. It makes me feel close to them.
I enjoy seeing photos of family and friends, the things that they are doing, even when its something as funny as a dog chewing a blanket...

I've browsed the web for ideas of things to sew. I came across this one blog, and am blown away ... the colours, the ideas, the talent = fantastic projects...

Then I found this really pretty pretty paper pieced design on Craftsy.

Isn't it just brilliant! I've a lot more to make if I want it bigger than a cushion..
